My36Breaths

Work With Christina

You already know something needs to change.

The hard part isn't wanting it.
It's knowing where to put your hands.

Coaching with me starts where you actually are — not where you think you should be by now.

If you've been managing your life instead of living it

You've tried the things. Therapy, maybe. Meditation apps. A retreat that felt like something for a week. Books you underlined and didn't return to.

None of it was wrong. But you're still carrying the same tightness in your chest on a Tuesday afternoon, and you still can't quite say what you want out loud.

This work is for you if:

  • You feel stuck, and can't locate the thing that's stuck
  • Stress and anxiety have become your baseline rather than an exception
  • You're capable and functioning, and quietly exhausted by it
  • You're a parent watching your children absorb what you haven't resolved
  • You're facing a change — a role, a relationship, an age, a world reshaped by AI — and you don't want to meet it from fear
  • You want practical tools, not affirmations

This work is not for you if you're looking for someone to tell you what to do. I don't do that. I help you hear what you already know, and then build something you can actually stand on.

As within, so without

Your inner world isn't separate from your outer one. It's the blueprint for it. The relationships you attract, the work you build, the way you show up for your kids and your clients — all of it is shaped first on the inside.

Most people try to change the outer life. They never touch the inner state that keeps recreating the old result. Inner work reverses the order — and it starts with the breath, because the breath is the one place where body, mind, and spirit are in direct contact.

01

Notice

Pause and get honest about what's actually present: the thought on repeat, the tension in the body, the emotion being avoided. Awareness comes before change.

02

Breathe

A conscious breath practice interrupts the automatic stress response and reconnects body, mind and spirit. This is the hinge — where your inner state becomes something workable.

03

Align

From that clearer place: what do I actually value here? This reconnects you to your own purpose rather than someone else's expectations.

04

Live

You carry it outward. Into how you speak, decide, parent, work. This is where the shift becomes durable instead of temporary.

No incense required

We talk. I ask questions. You'll probably say something out loud that you've been circling privately for months.

Then we work with the body — because insight alone doesn't change a nervous system. Depending on what you need, that might mean guided breathwork, or Jin Shin placements: the gentle holding of specific points that harmonize your energy. No needles, no equipment, no undressing. Your own two hands, and a willingness to listen to what your body is already telling you.

You leave with something to practice. Not homework — a tool. Something you can use in the car, at your desk, at 3am.

Sessions are available in person in Colorado, or online by video. Both work. The Jin Shin self-help practices are designed to be done with your own hands, which means distance is not the obstacle people assume it is.

I found my way back through my own breath

I'm Christina Kruger — life and wellness coach, certified Art of Jin Shin practitioner, goldsmith, and mother of two, based in Colorado.

For a long time I was caught between who I was and who I wanted to be. I did the work — therapy, meditation, wellness retreats — until I finally became still enough to listen to my own body. That's where I found intentional breathing, and the Art of Jin Shin.

I'm not interested in performing wellness at you. I'm interested in whether you can breathe more easily on a Wednesday than you could last month.

Common questions

Do I need to know anything about Jin Shin or breathwork?

No. Most people arrive knowing nothing. That's the normal starting point.

Is this therapy?

No. Coaching and Jin Shin are educational and self-empowerment practices. They work well alongside therapy and medical care, and they don't replace either. If you're working with a therapist or physician, keep doing that.

Can we work together if I'm not in Colorado?

Yes. Coaching and self-help Jin Shin work well over video. In-person Jin Shin sessions are Colorado only.

How soon will I feel different?

Most people notice something in the first session — usually that they can breathe further down than they expected. Durable change takes longer, which is why the six-week structure exists.

One breath. Then the next one.

You don't have to have it figured out before you book. That's the whole point.

Principles

What the Breath Knows

Every principle here rests on one idea: your hands are Return Points, always-available access to your body's Living Currents — the energy that never left, only waited to be noticed.

I

It Never Left

The breath is not something to acquire. It is the current already running through you, waiting to be remembered rather than learned.

II

Return, Don't Reach

Your hands are Return Points — places you can always come back to. You are not chasing calm; you are returning to it.

III

No Moral Compass

Breath restores flow without judging you. It does not decide what you deserve to feel — it simply moves what is ready to move.

Function

What the Breath Does

Four functions, one motion. Each breath is doing more than filling the lungs.

Regulate

It settles the nervous system. A slower exhale signals the body it is safe to stand down — no argument required, only breath.

Circulate

It moves Living Currents. Each inhale and exhale traces a pathway through the body, the same pathway JSJ has mapped for centuries.

Reveal

It surfaces what is ready. Held patterns rise to the surface not to be fixed, but to be witnessed and released in their own time.

Return

It brings you back to center. Thirty-six breaths later, you are not somewhere new — you are simply, finally, where you started.

Jin Shin

Down the Front. Up the Back.

The breath does not move at random — it travels a path the body already knows.

In Jin Shin, the breath is a physical event, not a metaphor. As you inhale, the current travels down the front of the body — the same pathway of surrender, safety, and receiving.

As you exhale, the current rises back up the spine along the back of the body — the pathway of release, of giving, of letting go what is no longer needed.

Down the front, up the back. One continuous loop, repeated thirty-six times, until the Guardian that formed to protect you finally feels it is safe to rest.

Inhale · Front

Receive. Root. Return to center. The current descends, gathering what the body is ready to take in.

Exhale · Back

Release. Rise. Let flow. The current ascends, carrying what the body is ready to let go.

This Page Will Grow With Us

What you've just read is where My36Breaths begins — not where it ends. As we launch, we'll be adding guided breath practices, new JSJ pathway maps, seasonal rituals, and the next chapter of this work.

Come back often. Something new will be waiting.
